Methodology: how we check your DA

We are an independent Australian publisher of compliance checklists. This page describes how every screen is researched. No people, no personal details, just the process.

Primary sources we check

• The Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW) (official legislation site)
• The applicable Local Environmental Plan, Development Control Plan and State Environmental Planning Policies via the NSW Planning Portal

Check cadence

Every screen is checked against the current instruments on the Portal. The screening methodology is reviewed quarterly.

What "verified" means here

Every finding carries the exact clause citation it was checked against, so each line can be independently verified.

What we never claim

• We do not give legal, financial or other professional advice. Everything here is general information.
• We do not invent testimonials, reviews or statistics. Where we have none, we say so.
• The primary source always overrides this site. Check the official publication before acting.
